Yes, i did create my own friendster account. And yes again, just now — December of 2005, years after people (you may or may not be one of them) aggresively asked indivs they meet to add them to their account and suddenly grew tired of it. Or so i thought.

I’m no techie and i’m also not into meeting people through the net but i now see the simple wonders i can reap from it. Well, i have actually realized this early on but just refused to join the bandwagon. But now i have my reasons. But i’m not telling just yet. Hey, i’m no stalker mind you. This is for a cause, a good cause really. If you’re a PF alumni especially from my batch then you can more or less connect the dots. And this is just reason no. 1.

I am also not into doing blogs but something/somewhere/someone in one of my previous writing classes has struck me to my senses. I have learned to take a swim, even only dip by dip. I am trying. I have been. This is a venue and i’ll try to utilize it.

Today, i am welcoming myself to the club. I’m still not convinced i did this although i know that sounds really weird. So for now, i’ll sit and see what good it brings me. And if it isn’t any good… um, i don’t know. But i can just erase this anytime i want and return to my usual life without friendster. There is always email and sms. I can do with those.
